There need to be some other countries investing - seriously investing - in the women’s game for this tournament to get where it needs to be. A team that medaled in living memory having 3 SOG in the third period is horrendous. Everyone deserves better.

And you know what? Like, for real? Sunderland are a decent outfit - they’re as good a promoted side as I’ve seen in a long long time. They’re unbeaten at home, defensively rock solid, one of the better keepers in the league and the boys did this to them.

I’m genuinely curious what the Olympic break is going to do for us. A few guys are gonna go deep in the tournament but most are going to get a long break.
