AEW was a blast. As we were leaving the kid asked me if it's ok to have a crush on a wrestler, I told her of course and she said "so can I get a Hangman shirt?" (She got her Hangman shirt)
At the graps (her first time!)
I'm going to absolutely lose my mind. The obsession with a play that almost never works is inexcusable
Joe Brady thought the Shakir part of the "stop throwing tunnel screens to Shakir" was the problem

Same handful of important players getting hurt every game is very fun.
Bills LB Terrel Bernard just came out of the medical tent. LB Shaq Thompson has been in for him this drive.

Bernard still on the sideline, talking to athletic trainers.

When my ex-wife was pregnant with our first kid, I had a brief flirtation with anti-vax bullshit. And it's exactly that lack of knowledge that sucked me in. I was scared of having a kid, my wife worked for a chiropractor who started introducing anti-vax stuff to her and it started to pull us in...
anti-vaccine followers count on this; they prey on everyone’s lack of knowledge. They want to convince you that malevolent scientific forces are to blame for all health problems. They know that the desire to

Truly great game
Ball X Pit is lowkey game of the year

Man, not saying they didn't say something worth the punch, I don't know. But you can't post a screen cap of AFTER a player punches a fan and say "well, that proves it"
The front row giving the stink eye to Blue Wig. Seems telling.

Can I do an honest thread about Jake Paul's boxing career? Like, we can all agree it's funny he got knocked out. But, I've found this whole thing really interesting for a few years now because of how no-win the thing has always been at its core.

Watching Rivers stumble around and fall down repeatedly is the most relateable a professional football player has ever been.

lol Buffalo winning this game is ridiculous. I love it
December 14, 2025 at 9:05 PM
Oh thank god, another predictable failed swing pass in the exact scenario where you run the play all the time. Good job, Joe Brady.

Yeah, kinda tired of being in the game of the year of the week this season
Oh no. The Bills are in the game of the year again
December 14, 2025 at 8:38 PM
If the Bills punt again this game, I'm out. Just go for it the rest of the way. That's just what has to happen.

Boy, New England is just kicking Buffalo's ass.

Friend's family invited me to a drive-in double feature. One of the movies was Waterworld, which I'd already seen. Two of the reels were flipped, which nobody picked up on. They were just kind of generally confused in a "I heard this was bad, but ..." way. Great shit, really.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Sherrone Moore in a tiny room in jail clothes is one of the wilder visuals I can remember.

Oh my god, I'm about to lose so much of my life
It's finally official: we're getting a Total War: Warhammer 40,000 game. It's finally been announced at The Game Awards 2025. https://bit.ly/3MyEDa3

Feeling very confident that the Street Fighter movie is going to be dogshit in a way that makes it incredibly enjoyable to watch after a few drinks. That's kind of exactly what you'd want, to be clear.

My wife could barely walk, hospital would only do an x-ray, insurance wouldn't cover an MRI unless she 1) saw primary care, 2) saw an orthopedic specialist, 3) did at least six weeks of physical therapy. All for the MRI we needed to diagnose the problem. Why? Because the other options are "cheaper"
For all Universal HC/Single Payer/M4A advocates.

What do the biggest, expensive hospital chains do. Do they opt out and only serve the rich ?

Who in the USA gov runs the program?

R U ok with having to see a primary care doc before you can see a specialist ?
