It sure does feel that way. I have some IRL people who love, accept, and even sometimes 'get' me. But I'm deeply grateful for spaces like this where I can talk with people whose internal landscape looks so similar to mine.
Because most of the time, I feel like I have to translate myself to others.

I feel this in my GUT.
In my head though, I have a back-and-forth between one voice warning of the danger in equating 'truth' to my ability to make sense of something and another voice that is eternally exasperated by allistic people's tendency to unquestioningly do nonsensical things lol.
