I couldn’t sleep so I went to scroll on Facebook marketplace. Instead I was distracted by “pro-American” ads. One was for a podcast about men taking over or something. It made me feel scared and now I am wide awake.

Details from Will C. Deman on NPS cuts. At least a dozen archaeologists axed, plus climate & restoration specialists. At least 15 parks (inc. Zion, Gateway, Rainier, Yosemite, Everglades, Grand Canyon, Smokies) have lost 10 or more staff.
