My latest miniature, Tater Swift.
Me, trying to find joy in the things I already own instead of buying new stuff.

Okonomiyaki! Or at least a version of it I was able to cobble together with what I had on hand.

Saw someone post this over on the Facebooks: a 3D printed phone holder shaped like a WWI trench section!

I'm pretty sure a few of you on here would be able to make one out of terrain material -I'm tempted to myself. Though printable resin would probably hold up better.

One batch of minis clean and drying, and another soaking in simple green. With OoP minis, sometimes the best (& cheapest) I can find are already painted, which means stripping them. This a much bigger chore than I imagined, sometimes with multiple soakings and a lot of scrubbing.

In honor of spooky month, share a 4 word horror story that only someone in your fandom would understand.

"He based his tanks."

This movie would have been better if the predator had not been in it.

Just spent 2.5 hours getting fillings. Is it time for a treat? Yes, I think it’s time for a treat.

Love me some multi-turreted tanks.
#OTD in 1933 the vehicle codenamed mittlerer Traktor (m. Tr.) received the name we know it by today: Neubau Fahrzeug (Nb.Fz.) This formidable looking three-turreted medium tank ended up too heavy, complex, and expensive to mass produce. Only five were built. #tanks #history

Does anyone know what ‘Rkt Pistols’ are? I encountered them looking at German TO&Es based on US intelligence during WWII.

My first guess would be the Kampf- or Sturmpistole.

Fuck me that was expensive
Off to the dentist! They can drill all they want, it still won’t be as painful as when it comes time to pay.

Did someone say belt fed aircraft rocket launcher?
The French Castro system of 1917. 30 mm rockets, 1.6 kg with 550g HE. Recoil force moves the cannon backwards and on the fore-stroke swallows the stem of the rocket to fire the next. Single or auto firing options. Not adopted.

A brief clip of a war trophy WW1 German A7V on display on the Place de la Concorde, Paris. Seen here, Private William Bell (Ciccouskie, Florida, USA), A Coy., 321st Sanitary Corps climbs out with a German helmet. Gives a nice view of the construction of the inside of the door.
