I just stopped #totp before "Mississippi" even started. I heard it on one of the old replays years back and I kid you not, I couldn't get that earworm out of me head for weeks. It was driving me crazy. Can someone please tell me when it's gone?

I do not quite believe I'm watching 'Legs and Co' dancing to the theme from Jaws, on an old #totp from 1976. It's scary, alright, but for all the wrong reasons.

Gotta love it when your train gets cancelled on one of the hottest days of the year, forcing you to not only hang around in the sun for an hour and get a steaming migraine, but share the next train an hour later with twice as many bad tempered people as usual, many of whom needed a deodorant top up.

August 11 is always a tough one to get through. Ten years ago today, I lost my dad, after a long illness.
My husband died two years later on the same date. Completely out of the blue.
So yeah, tough day for bad memories. And it's a Monday this year.

There is no better feeling than walking out of the dental hygienist's clinic, safe in the knowledge that you don't need to go back for six months.

Just ventured into the local Facebook group and seen a woman asking for recommendations for a nail tech who'll do acrylics on a 12 year old 😳😳😳
I've replied that she's not likely to find anywhere reputable willing to do it and no insurance will cover that age. Bet she does it anyway.

I still cringe at the memory of trying to dance to this at a school disco in 1982. Little did I know the song would be played at every wedding I ever went to, well into the next century, so I would be able to practice it. #ComeOnEileen #totp

1989 on #totp now. Pretty good year, a new job - the people were fantastic and the social life was amazing as we were mostly young. I met people I'm still in touch with now. That summer the weather was good and I was dating my first proper long term boyfriend. Good times. I can even forgive SAW.
