I absolutely agree. Not to mention the risk of permanent nail bed damage if they get caught and yanked off, it's gonna be painful...

I felt really grown up at 12 when my parents finally let me get my ears pierced, but I would never have been allowed acrylic nails if they'd existed then. I could wear polish on special occasions. Twelve years old is a little girl, not mature enough to know how to look after acrylic nails 😳
