'The Supreme Court’s ruling on the 16 April means that we will be changing our policy. Transgender women will no longer be able to play in women’s football in England, and this policy will be implemented from 1 June 2025.'

For centuries, a “gossip” was a woman who attended another woman's delivery. The word was a corruption of “god-sib” or “god-sibling,” meaning “sister in the Lord.” The gossips offered support to mother and midwife. Only later did the term take on a derogatory meaning.

Soft block is a must - blocking an account MUST remove that account's "follow" and MUST remove your account from all of their lists - even if you then unblock again.
This is the only way to prevent harassment. And we all know it. 😡

I think the best thing you can do is allow us to remove our names from lists, as well as prevent someone from adding us to a list, simply by blocking that person.
If you block the list owner you are removed from the list and they can't add you to another
That way we control who is allowed to list us

The image of frivolous women who've been "radicalised" (because they're too spoilt, passive and stupid to have their own politics) reminds me of how men spoke of feminists when I was growing up. Also of anti-suffragette propaganda. Laughable to be so sexist then call for a focus on "real issues"

I saw someone suggesting that this is a good thing as it means theatres must be producing more slowly, more intentionally, with better resources. I've spent the rest of the day doing some weird laughcrysnort thing every time I think about that.
