Just found out “The Wild, Wild West” is on one of the retro-tv channels! I know it’s goofy & Robert Conrad was a macho ass, but I loved their fun guest-villains (especially Victor Buono as Count Manzeppi & Michael Dunn as Dr. Loveless!👍) & this was my intro to steampunk as a kid! #Classictelevision

So glad Jessie Buckley got an Oscar nomination for her role in “Hamnet” — I’ve been saying since I saw the film that she definitely deserved a nomination & she also definitely should win for her performance!👏🎭 (& glad to hear the film got nominated for Best Picture, too; it deserves that as well!👏)

Why is it that Science Fiction sections of US bookshops seem to be taken over by “Romantasy” books (a COMPLETELY different genre!🤨) instead of ACTUAL sci-fi?🤦🏻♀️Guess I’ll wait til my next UK trip to stock up! (usually bring back so many books from AMAZING UK bookshops that I have to ship some home!😄)

Just watched “Muppet Christmas Carol” again this weekend, my fave version of C.C. & one of my fave Xmas films; Michael Caine is so good as Scrooge, he should’ve been nominated for an Oscar! Such a perfect blend of the usual Muppet humour with moments of genuine pathos!👍😭❤️#MuppetsChristmasCarol

Just watched a great doc called, “John Candy: I Like Me”!😭What a sweetheart he was! Was a fan of his since his early days on SCTV long before he hit it big in the movies (along w/the whole cast: Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, etc., before they hit big too); check out this doc & SCTV!
