I was the team lead for our engineering group that designed the “glass” on these fridges. We had Alec Bohm come in every day for 4 months to stress test them. Ended up using a 82” thick sheet of epoxy for each door. The unit weighs 1,400lbs and has bankrupted our company.
Phillies might be the first team to ever have a fridge in their dugout. Over/under 28.5 home games before someone smashes it.
