I really miss quarterly releases. The game was so much better when there were three sets built around a self-contained story and a new base set every year.
I had to stop well before this point, but I can't imagine seven (?!) standard legal sets per year with a three year rotation schedule.

Reading up on ZA shiny hunting strategies and one of them is "spawn overloading" to artificially spawn a large amount of pokemon in an area.
One of the zones has pokemon that spawn in little holes, and people started talking about "overloading holes" and 🥴
