I'm putting together a Canada game dev starter pack in response to this idiotic tariff war so people can support Canada-based game devs through follows / purchases if they choose to.

Reply if you're a game dev in Canada and you want to be on it. Please repost. Thanks!

I've been progressing through the Sim Settlements 2 Mod for FO4. I'm on chapter 3, and while I really like the story, voice acting, and all the things I can do in the HQ, the War Mechanics are not that enjoyable for me. I'm more of a city builder than a general.

After finishing a run in Fallout London, I got back into trying to finish the Sim Settlements 2 mod for Fallout 4. The developers really helped flesh out not only FO4's limited Settlements building system, but also integrated a lore friendly storyline into the game that filled a void in vanilla.

Lots of new follows lately :)

Hey everyone, I'm a learn as you go solo developer who has been playing way too much Fallout London this week. I really like the story and environment, including the settlement locations! I've spent more time trying to build up a settlement than I ever did in FO4.

This made me groan physically, which is why I've got to share the pain with others
spending an evening working up scenarios in our D&D game so that we have a werewolf scribe in bondage gear who's following around a powerful enemy.
That's right, he's a lycan subscribe.

Finally started playing around with Blender again. It's been well over 10 years since I used it, so there's been a lot of changes. But some things are coming back to me and good to know some of the core hotkeys haven't changed

This game's WIP name is 'Stitchers of Fate'. Originally, it was 'Knitters of Fate', but a friend let me know that a misproncination (intentional or not) would cause some harm.

This all started when I looked at a free asset pack and imagined changing the character material to be felt. Erich lead to images of a Muppet granny crocheting chainmail armor from steel-wool-producing sheep.

Love exploring how a world like that could develop. How items are made, what kind of organizations get created, what kinds of conflicts would develop between different material families.

That world? An rpg set in a world of textiles and other materials, inspired by D20's 'A Crown of Candy' and Angel's 'Smile Time' episode. I just love the visual of short felt-like people telling a serious story of court intrigue, conflict, and magic.

Which is why I seem to write more while sitting in my corner pub than at the local library or at home. I'm close to filling up a scribbler with game systems, worldbuilding, and system models.

One of the things I learned in university is that I focused better in a noisy cafeteria than in a library. Think the overlapping conversations drown each other out, creating a type of white noise for me. Where as in a library every cough, chair shift, whispered question, etc. stands out sharply.
