I had no clue this is what people meant by "warm ups". Like, a whole routine? Each part specific and functional? Dang.

Probably would have less "forgot how to draw" days if I did these every time. I'm gonna try it.

As much as I didn’t want to do another immediate goal, it’s been a month and my cough and chest pain hasn’t gone away. I kept hoping that waiting it out would make it stop, but nothing is changing. It won’t cover if they want to do any x-rays, but this would at least get me in.

It's not just fine but amazing to make amateur art. Humans are artmakers. You don't have to be professionalized as an artist, you don't have to make art of professional merit. Just create!

bad people can and often do make good art. attacking the art as retroactively subpar to free yourself of moral dilemma and give yourself permission to not care means you're innately equating quality of art as representative of moral virtue (it's not) which is how you get purity culture
