I won't have a piece about Mewgenics until next week but I've played about 25 hours of it so far and can confirm it has The Juice. The added complexity means it can't reach Binding Of Isaac levels of "I will play this forever" but when a run is cooking it feels amazing.

There are people in my Fallout finale review arguing that I am wrong for hating Liberty Prime, The Big Dumb Nuke-Throwing Joke Robot, and I am always at home to people suggesting I am wildly off base on any and all topics except for this very specific one where I'm right and they're all wrong.

Look: I think some of the stuff TR-49 is doing is really cool, and it gets even better as it goes. But I definitely struggled with some of its early design choices, which feel counter to what I really enjoy about narrative deduction games. www.avclub.com/tr-49-narrat...
