Running around after a toddler. Enthusiastic cook, lazy runner, long-suffering supporter of Fulham FC.
Much needed three points. Really should have been able to score more than one, but a great clean sheet. Chukwueze needs more minutes, what a player!

Frustrating half, I feel if Wilson had taken his chances we’d be in good stead. But we love throwing away leads so maybe not the worst thing? That said, I can’t see us having another good 30 like that as the game progresses. #FULARS #alwayslaughatusingthathashtag

I love that in goal of the month listing on the Fulham website they have listed “King vs Chelsea”. We all know it was one, so treat it as one. Completely agree with that decision, and what a goal it was.

Reiss Nelson to Brentford. Good news for Fabio Carvalho; he can share the boos. Bad for us that we’ll have a few of theirs riled up (maybe). Here’s to hoping Wilson’s head hasn’t been turned such that he doesn’t show up and put Brentford in their place (somewhere under a flyover, bus pass in hand).

Well, Fulham’s transfer window as, has ever, wasted at least 3 games of potential impact (and lost points from the first two; last game out we could have had 7 shots in the net and lost thanks to officiating). Underwhelming window. Depth barely addressed. Moreover, so much goodwill evaporated 1/2

Things I learned today that I never thought were true: there was an almost 15km long monorail in County Kerry in the late 19th Century.

Of all of the counties, Kerry does make the most sense to have had a monorail moment.

Happy new “HMHB” album release day to all who celebrate (in their joy division oven gloves). Time to give it a listen.

So where's all the Fulham transfer news on Bluesky then? Who should I be following?

God, we live in the dumbest timeline
DEAN: What's the tariff on bananas?

LUTNICK: Generally 10%

DEAN: Walmart has already increased the cost of bananas by 8%

LUTNICK: If you build in America, there is no tariff

DEAN: We cannot build bananas in America

We have been better since the goal. How Cairney didn’t hit the target with the second effort and get the goal is beyond me. Traore dangerous, but lethargic overall. More needed - King for Periera is a sub I would love to see (someone who wants to play and prove himself).

Ah that Europa League final. Christ, if Fulham of 15 year’s ago had played either of these other than Athletico Madrid…

Still, however this: I for one am happy at the outcome. I think Utd needed and deserved the bloody nose. Spurs, a spot of fortune and grace.

But, mainly: lol at this final

Looking forward to spending this evening watching a truly silly European final, interspersed with the Ian Rush AI musical. Name me a more ridiculous football Wednesday, I dare you.

A very weird thing transitioning from full time employment to nebulous employment. Both harder and easier than I thought. Albeit, most of the difficulty from the new car we acquired having a broken alarm that goes off all night (hopefully now sorted… apologies to all my neighbours…)

So. Fulham lost today. Nothing new there. But we lost against a team who - starting off - showed summer friendly intensity and no low block. This was bad. 1/17
A dire day at the cottage, I’m going to post a thread soon to try to share some balanced frustrations, put some perspective on things, and ask what next. But before then, I’m having a half pint waiting for the train wondering how the hell we managed to lose 3-1 against that 🤦🏻‍♂️

This a strange fact I have known since I was 9 and saw the trivia posted in the science museum, next to a display of the artificial blood pumping apparatus used to keep someone alive during a heart transplant. 1/2
In 1979, when the UK’s first successful heart transplant patient woke up after his operation, his first words were ‘Did Fulham win on Saturday?’

If Tottenham and Utd eventually meet at the end of this competition, is it possible, somehow, that the game is void and there’s a 3rd place winner? Seems like a sensible bet given the current season (both to field an ineligible player, my top bet.)

Nice of everyone immediately around us to help us out after last night… looking at Bournemouth, Palace and Brentford here. Probably the best thing to happen to us as a club over the past week 😂
