Running around after a toddler. Enthusiastic cook, lazy runner, long-suffering supporter of Fulham FC.
@jonoffc.bsky.social in my head they had/have two ways out. Win something and challenge, and make money. Or failure, and pull a fast one to get something back. I can’t see them persisting through bad times again if they come. They need to do more to avoid the latter. Also, Ali Mac out. Could help!!!

I think they’re already bored. I think they’re sleepwalking now and have no appetite to do a rescue job if we go down, but will pull a fast one to recoup some cash if things get hairy. That’s my real worry. They’re not fans, they’re not bottomless benefactors. Maybe some jaguars fans can calm me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think you’re having, and probably need, to be fair, a transitional year. Bit of Europe and consolidation - especially following the Isak saga. I look forward to the atmospheres for your games with Liverpool this season - 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Because when the stand is done - they have their chip. No appetite for bothering to renovate Putney or hammy ends. Year of income to show off stand revenue on accounts - opportunity to detach it from club (sell one stand and lease back to us). I see them selling us down the river, literally 2/2.

I’d like the Khan circus to end before all of the other stuff happens (because that would be the best situation) but I think you’re right - I see it happening. Managerial change end of the year - fine this season - we crumple next year or the year after. My guess is Khan’s sell next 12-24 months 1/2

I should add @hugogordon.bsky.social it doesn’t sound like cope as you’re not title challenging this year (if you’ll excuse me, I’ll just hide behind my chair now before you throw that water bottle at me 😅)

And this is my problem. Fans are tired and broke. Marco Silva has been stretched more than ever in his career and given the latest backing for anything bar a January window. And that was nothing. This compounds. We are vulnerable to injuries and AFCON, it will hurt us. Pattern needs to end. 2/2

You need to watch your Achilles heel. There’s a reason it’s such a long lasting cultural touchstone…

But my point is that squad depth is about more than numbers. It’s about the manager’s leadership, tactics, coaching, the individuals themselves. Fight. Culture. Reliability (looking at you, Andre Onana).

It’s the result that matters, ultimately. Also makes me think - despite our smaller squad, I trust all of those who don’t start regularly for us much more than Amorim can trust beyond Fernandes and… hmm. Errr, I was going to write more names there…

You’ll have to share the IV with me on this one, thankfully there’s plenty to go around tonight though

Reminds me of the single league draw we had in the 11-12 3rds season. Stonewall penalty for a foul on Dobrev, absolutely missed. Terrible injustice.

It’ll be like clockwork (except that we didn’t for a whole season…)

(And talking about that, we’d be watching the women’s euros anyway as we live in Europe and enjoy women’s football; I just wish to clarify as I realise I should have said “and we’re all watching the women’s euros” not “so we’re all watching”…
