Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

It really is astonishing how much of a one-two punch the casting of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson was for the X-Files.

They both give subdued and grounded performances that really helps to sell the various paranormal phenomenon and carry each episode on the strength of their interaction.
