Big numbers are hard to grasp. This might help.

1 million seconds = about 12 days.

1 billion seconds = 31 days

Conservative estimate of Elon Musk's wealth = 300+ billion dollars.

300 billion seconds = 10,459 years.

Murderers impersonating cops is the natural outflow of actual cops insisting they need not identify themselves nor show their faces. Anyone can yell “police” and you’re just supposed to cower I guess.

What a dumb headline @usatoday.com. Pearl Harbor was a secret attack by an aggressor. Calling this Russia's Pearl Harbor is extremely insulting. Ukraine was the one attacked by an aggressor-fighting back tooth and nail to keep its own sovereignty. Russia can end this in a minute by pulling out.

Sadness. I can't believe she was 87 years old. I really loved M*A*S*H and she was a wonderful part of that cast.

There were a lot of human/life lessons to be learned in that show. It definitely had an impact on me beyond the humor

My neighbors voted for her over and over again. I just can't fathom that. Self-interest seemed like the only motivation for her.

Do we need to be afraid that we will lose some books forever or is there another backup?

Is this like losing the library at Alexandria?

Leadership is never about "service" for Trump. It's only about status and personal gain. Even if they find a way to call this "legal" it smacks of a conflict of interest or even quid pro quo.

Congress members do not deserve their pay. This vote is the equivalent to employees going to work and scrolling Instagram reels or shopping on Amazon all workday and getting paid for it. Totally unproductive.

April Fools used to be kind of fun on the internet. But, THIS YEAR, I'm having a hell of a time figuring out what is real news and what might be a gag. Nothing is unbelievable anymore.

I hope there is a future where we can feel a little normal (and safe) again.
