Putin destroys infrastructure - Ukrainians repair them not with steel, but with solidarity and mutual care. Let that be a lesson for us all: our greatest asset is each other.
Can we say with confidence that we, Ukrainians, have coped with this winter as well as possible There is no simple answer. However, everyone did everything possible-both for themselves and for others.

i guess what i'm saying is that it's just not realistic to expect social apps not to desire private data or expect them to wait until it's fully ready on-protocol. blacksky has a community that exists, right now.

atproto is not fully ready for prime-time for every social app until it has private records and communication imo. even bluesky are doing preferences-hacks for private data and just deploying a fully centralized service (chat) where they don't have a better solution yet.

We’ll adopt the canonical approach when it arrives.

Working name for the project is "Tribe". For Tribe, login would be oauth. Public posts would be done via authenticated users' PDS (similar to Wafrn). Local posts would follow same schema but stored on the app server.

people outside Japan may not have noticed, but the Bluesky app displayed a special banner and election related feed for a few days for today's snap election in Japan. I cannot see how the other platforms handled it, but at least Bluesky team does care about democracy 🗳️

Interesting POV: Trump and Epstein were more "useful idiots" to the Kremlin than true Russian assets. They did not receive missions, bcs whatever they did was useful and they could easily be manipulated into delivering what they needed from them.
Was Epstein a Russian asset?
