I absolutely love these guys! It's a shame you don't see them until the end of LTS as they're hiding in their coffins but in LTS: A Christmas Spirit, you see them from the start. I am aiming to remake all 4 LTS games in Godot...

I completely rebuilt the world for Life's Too Short HD using a different asset pack as this one has so many great tiles I will use on the sequels.
It was a lot of work and doesn't look quite as good yet but it'll be worth it...

Now the game functionally works, has some basic animation (that took so long in Pulp...). Final job is to develop the dialog and actually write the story!
This has been a really fun little project and can't wait to see everyone else's entries!

Great write up! Making games is hard but not impossible. Folks get into it from various angles but this story of someone with a dream ending up releasing a game as wonderful as Echo should be inspiring to all wannabe game devs!
