It's still mega early days but here's a look at how Life's Too Short HD is looking after rebuilding everything with different artwork. Still not totally sold on all the tiles etc but it looks super cute...

Now the game functionally works, has some basic animation (that took so long in Pulp...). Final job is to develop the dialog and actually write the story!

This has been a really fun little project and can't wait to see everyone else's entries!

It's obviously mega rough and that portrait is placeholder but Dialogic is a really nice system to work with in Godot. Once I've got this to a good place, I can start bringing in a bunch of the script from the original game 👌

1) Life's Too Short HD: A remake of the @play.date game using Godot to make it look all snazzy!

I'm currently working on making the house and ghost look good. The lighting in @godotengine.org is so nice to work with...

Been messing around with lighting in Life's Too Short HD. I'm still debating how much light a ghost will block so that needs work but this makes such a difference! #indiegamedeveloper #gamedev #godot

Changed the approach and connected all the rooms together, hiding a room that's not in use. Feels much more slick! Needs some tweaking etc but I'm happy to have solved this...#indiegamedeveloper
