I didn't really get many gifts for Christmas, but one of the very few things I got was my friend brought over a charcuterie plate with cheeses and meats he smoked himself.
It meant a lot to me so I got him a jar of artisan mustard and brought it to him yesterday and he gave me more salmon 🤤

My work is shit during crunch time but I am thankful they are understanding for loss. I told them my dad could die at any point soon and they said whatever time I need off if that happens I can take, and to take it easy this week.
They also let me have an entire week off when Luna died.

Any time you or someone you know goes to Costco have them get you a rotisserie chicken and just shred up that sucker, put portions on butcher paper, and freeze it and you can have super yummy chicken for snacks or dinner in 2 min or less.

I honestly am just waiting for "You weren't there for us" as soon as my dad finally passes away and how that's gonna absolutely obliterate my mental health even though I keep trying to get let in.

Love my family not giving me *any* information on how my dad is doing other than "Oh he's worse and he's bad" after making me cry on the phone weeks ago about not knowing that anything was happening! (Because it was witheld from me!)

I am a bit stupid and not hip to the details on a lot of world happenings but I think the first thing that should come to mind when you hear about atrocities like this is worry for the innocent civilians that are caught up in this shit.
