#FFXSpoilers: I have tried the Jekkt fight 4 or 5 times now and I guess I‘d have to grind up my party, which I don‘t really feel like doing. Might just stop here and watch a video for the rest. #FFX
I‘m almost done with FFX and it starts to drag a bit. Hope the game is finally coming to a close soon, else it will overstay it‘s welcome a bit.

One of my new years resolutions is to get back to my old language levels in Italian. Trouble is, outside of books, Italian media is really grating to me, i.e. youtubers, daytime shows, podcasts etc. Gonna have to watch a lot of my favourite tv shows dubbed, I guess.

I both love and dread it when all the students want to know the mark they are going to get on their report card.
It's great to see joyful faces, when the mark is better than expected. Terrible, when someone didn't get the grade they wanted and are now haggling with me like at some market stall.

My only gripe so far is with Rikku. I can see how she might be important to the story (an outsider's/other culture's perspective that is *of* the time) but her joining the party has felt so random and unmotivated. I don't know if that "story hole" is getting patched, though. #FFX #FFXspoilers
I‘m genuinely having a great time with FF X. The fights feel great, the story is engaging (so far) and the leveling system is incredibly satisfying. Getting to activate a new sphere every other fight really hits the dopamine centre.
