i don't like how this one is aging atm
But humans adapt. Software development will adapt too, after all the data centers are stuffed with ~3 years of Earth's RAM and GPUs & we realize almost none of these are being utilized beyond a scope, many will close, like clarinet shops in 1927, and the diaspora of creativity ripples out again.

No, no no, not the purple-thorn swellies; it's crazy but its true, the right number of flashing lights can be every bit as engaging as a full sensory space. In the right comfortable spot, with the right auditory accompaniment, a modulated single led strobe can detach me from my body for a moment

Just realized that there's something really poetic about AI not being able to understand how human hands work.
That said, more artists should understand how human hands work too. I have some issues drawing them, but have plenty of calluses to show for my time.

I just saw the gas station clerk slap a drunk dude for slurring about eating a 3 lb bag of broccoli and then launching like a 10 second turd burp. Got clocked for being stinky, I think that's fair. Don't be stinky, leave your turd burps outside.

TIL that there are electromagnetic pulse missiles here in reality. I though that was still a videogame/sci fi idea. This gives me a little bit of hope when Skynet decides we're the biggest problem on the planet etc.
