I am misremembering. It's not all that faithful to the novel of Frankenstein, but it does get the spirit right.

Today's film was Frankenstein (2025). A reasonably faithful adaptation that largely understands the spirit of the story more than most others. It's not perfect, but I liked it quite a bit.

Today's film is Ikiru (1952). This one broke me, but the subject matter was pretty close to home. Beautiful, heartbreaking and absolutely a masterpiece. Also, I will now pretend that the building a park storyline from Parks & Rec is a remake of this.

The Switch 2 release really has been a big misstep for Nintendo, huh? The best they have for the first six months really has been a Mario Kart, a Donkey Kong, updating a six year old game and the ability to play games that you've played years ago.
It's so bizarre that they fumbled like this.
