Does no one find it odd that the players moved or allowed to sign elsewhere would have been the same players that may have had an issue with Lindor being named captain?

There is obviously something going on with team leadership. And the owner, who loves Lindor, chose Lindor over the other core players who have now left. Nimmo gave up no trade and both Diaz and Alonso didn’t look back. McNeil will be gone too.

Why is everyone so upset about a guy who was trash for two years when he got here, then had one really good year, then cost the playoffs the next year because of WBC and wasn’t all that great last year because he was shielded by low appearances. Also die for a bad year.

All I can say is maybe the plan can only support Diaz or Alonzo? I mean you can’t pay every player 20 - 50 million a year each.
