Victims are not faceless. German-born Vera Judith Schlein was stripped of her citizenship and deported to the Theresienstadt Ghetto in January 1944. On Oct. 19, 1944, she was shipped to Auschwitz, where she was murdered.

An away win in the league at Burnley, home wins against Crystal Palace and a thriller against Leeds United have seen the club up to a more respectable 6th place, its highest this season. This was followed at the weekend by an energy sapping win (eventually) against Bournemouth in the FA Cup.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy on 6 November 1942. He was murdered in a gas chamber after the arrival selection.

It can also be hard work, with all the present buying, the food cooking and generally being nice to people you long ago decided to live apart from.
