The weather is really nice today, so it felt like the perfect time to take some good pictures of this page I made while traveling back in November. I was trying out my friend’s fountain pen and I love how it turned out!

The ground is colored in splotches of green and yellowish-brown alcohol markers and colored pencil, and a few weeds sprout from it. The tree’s bark is very dark and its foliage green with reddish spots. In the background, clouds are rendered with negative space of cobalt blue colored pencils.

I got my hands on a new set of acrylic markers. I’ve been enjoying using them to draw colorful flowers today. I love the periwinkle shade and really wanted to use it. It pushed me out of my comfort zone. Do we like it ?

It feels kind of weird sharing my art on BS sometimes. The October challenge hosts (peachtober, inktober) aren’t really active here. It’s hard to find a community for traditional art. I hope someday there’ll be enough artists here so we won’t need to use Instagram or Pinterest if you don't want to 🤞
