#Bluesky is so refreshing. Haven't felt this inspired about following, sharing and absorbing fresh social content since Twitter circa 2010. The resistance begins anew.

#Quarterback on @netflix is hands down the best #NFL documentary series. Excellent production & storytelling. You get vivid insight into the lives of the many amazing humans behind the best sport in America from players & their families to coaches & team personnel. So inspiring.

"The United States' largest trading partners are Canada, Mexico, and China."

Trump's trade wars against all 3 countries will result in massive consumer price hikes, and basic living expenses will skyrocket for every person in the USA.

Had an awesome weekend in #KC catching up with old buddies. Highlights were going to Arrowhead for the first time to see #CU play #Kansas and dining at the terrific #TownCompany restaurant inside #HotelKansasCity.

📢 Exciting new book arrival !!!

I've read some fascinating snippets already & can't wait to devour this tantalizing tale over the holidays.

"Character Limit: How #Elon #Musk Destroyed #Twitter" by @kateconger.bsky.social & @rmac.bsky.social is a *must* read for new #Bluesky users.

Edge computing has arrived.

One thing in IT is always certain: the cycle of centralized to decentralized back to centralized networks and so on will continue forever...

What happens when you vote against your own interests... isn't it ironic?
Lots of people are about to be really mad that price of eggs goes up but they can’t get a 2nd job because they can’t afford childcare and when they do finally get the eggs they get E Coli because there’s no FDA but can’t go to the doctor because they got kicked off their health plan. #FAFO

Trolls are like the school yard bullies who picked on everyone, then wondered why they weren't invited to the birthday party, which makes them even more miserable & more desperate to join.

But they'll never be accepted, so they just doom spiral into a neverending pool of self-loathing & resentment.

An academic study found that on July 13, 2024 — the day Musk endorsed Trump — there was a systemic change across Twitter resulting in massive increases in reach for Musk and other accounts supporting Trump.

This should be a scandal.

Amen.
resolved: people who insist that all social media sites must be places where users are constantly encountering and arguing with people over fundamental disagreement do so because their actual, real lives are echo chambers where they do not encounter any meaningful difference from day-to-day.

Wrote about arguably my favorite topic in all of sports: Jerry Jones spending $1.2 billion on a stadium built at the exact orientation so the sun shines directly into players eyes during the months when the Cowboys play football:

Another hope I have is that the #Bluesky community fosters its own identity & culture.

Let's not mention El*n in any capacity here unless it directly impacts us.

We don't need to give him any more oxygen.

We need to leave him in his X-cage until he ultimately self-destructs from his own toxicity.
