I think they are just choosing to ignore it and hope for the best. I wish I could do that. My anxiety is so high. Waking up every day to see what else they've destroyed. I wish I could ignore the fact that we are losing our democracy and that we will soon be the enemy of the free world.

It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year.
I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.
