Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

Sometimes I watch wonderful TV shows like Heated Rivalry and my faith in humanity is restored. And then I immediately remember that it’s almost 2026 and we humans still design showers with the temperature gauge directly under the shower head, and I abandon hope, once again.

I don’t know if it’s me getting older, the phones’ speakers getting louder, or just the “content creators” not knowing how to use all those portable mics that they hold up so annoyingly in every single video that pops on my timelines these days, but I’m exhausted at people yelling at me constantly.

I’m pretty sure that “niche” is not supposed to be pronounced like “kitsch”, but it’s actually pronounced like “neesh” or in the same way we pronounce “quiche”.
Every time I hear someone use the first pronunciation in a podcast, I can’t help but turn it off. Not sure why it bothers me so much 😬
