Dangkang, the “tooth pig,” is a white-furred beast of myth, said to dance and chant its name when harvests are rich. With tusks like plows and joy in its steps, it heralds abundance and good luck. Some believe it inspired the character Zhu Bajie in the classic novel Journey to the West.

In Chinese #mythology, the Yellow Dragon(Ying Long) isn't just a mythical beast, but a symbol of balance.
Revered as the central figure in Chinese mythology, Ying Long governs the winds and storms, embodying the harmony between nature and imperial authority. 1/2

The School of Names (名家)
This school sought to understand the relationship between "Name" (concepts or words) and "Fact" (reality). The philosophers explored how language shapes understanding, diving deep into logic and dialectical reasoning.

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
Luke 23:34

No art, not even digital, as it was all gloomy. Should forgiveness be expressed as sad, dark and gloomy? Or is there a freedom in letting go?

Waldspirale, Darmstadt, Germany
It has 1048 windows and no two are the same.

The name translates into English as forest spiral, reflecting both the general plan of the building and the fact that it has a green roof.

People in Chinese cities are currently doing Jian Qiu or "picking up autumn", like other trends, this has been attributed to current favs under scrutiny, Gen Z. But it's not a new thing. Jian Qiu is also known as Shi Qiu, and used to be done after harvests to gather up any loose grains. 1/ #culture
