Trump's White House & fawning hacks here don't really care about the 0.001% that the BBC gets wrong. They care about all the stuff it gets right.

Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Reform UK put out this graphic during the local elections.

Over 5 years = 25% according to their own graphic.

They have announced they will raise it by this over 5 years:

Kent: 25%
Durham: 25%
Warwickshire: 25%
Worcestershire: 25%
Leicestershire: 25%
Lincolnshire: 25%

Average: ⬆️ 25%

Nigel Farage currently railing against Parliament being full of "professional politicians".

He founded UKIP in 1993 and was first elected as an MEP in 1999, twenty-six years ago. Less than 5% of current MPs (31 to be precise) have a longer career in politics than Farage. ~AA

People who are generally upset with how their lives are going, and also feel there are too many people around who look different, can never actually be appeased.

Not by Brexit, not by eliminating FoM, not by new taxes or fees, not by ending ILR, not by denaturalizing not by anything.

Is this not political interference of the most egregious and socially divisive kind?

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

Can someone ask Farage or Zia Yusuf why, if they're so concerned about incitement to violence, they had Lucy Connolly as a guest star at their conference?

Amazing bit of 2019 footage this.

Frei doing a great job of trying to hold Farage to account as he and Nathan Gill go walkabout.

And I suspect Farage will come to regret his quip at the end about Russians if it does the rounds again.
Nathan’s mate Nigel sure did seem to want to brush it all away when questioned by Matt Frei back in 2019.

The Muslim Council of Britain responded: “We pray for Mr Trump's health and wellbeing as his hallucinations seem to be getting worse by the day”

All the "free speech advocates" mean by "free speech" is their perceived right to their "free speech" by which they mean their right to be racist, transphobic, misogynistic hate mongers.

The rest of our free speech was never packaged into the deal, and anyway, they have nothing but contempt for it.

Unpopular opinion:
1)What is happening in America is hugely concerning.
2) It is in both Britain‘s and Europe's interest to work closely together.
3) Neither Brits nor Europeans can afford to openly break with the US right now.
4) Making the most of that impossible situation is very hard.

There's no excuse of ignorance any more. Every single person on that fascist march knew who Tommy Robinson was and every single one of them knew why they were there.

This isn't Brexit. People weren't conned. They willingly went out to join in, led by a five times jailed thug. Stop making excuses.
