Dec 19th - Day nineteen of the #ArtAdventCalendar.

Aug 28, 2024 - A sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean as seen from the North Head Trail at Signal Hill in St John’s. An important day for me personally that I felt I needed to capture the sunrise and the sunrise didn’t disappoint.
The sun rising above the Atlantic Ocean and shining though the clouds, giving the sky an orange glow.

#ArtAdventCalendar - we had these tulips growing that decay and fall apart in beautiful ways. I took photos of them then played with the processing. Then I cut and paste petals to make the hoops. I also made a cloud brush in PS for the background.
2x2 repeat of a rococo style pattern. The background is very pale blue with soft grey clouds. The foreground consists of overlapping ovals made from "cut" petals from photos of elaborate tulips. They range from golden to the palest pink. They have a lot of shiny elements and ruffles. In the middle of the hoops are three overblown tulips also in gold and pink.

#artAdventCalendar day 14, a lucky phone capture I love a lot of a black eyed junco in my herb garden this winter.
A black eyed junco, a small bird with black brown and gray coloring, flies to the left of the frame. Its wings have been caught spread and blurred mid flight. To the right is a leafless pontinella bush branch covered in snow. A high snow drift backs the entire photo, and large blurred flakes fall from the sky.
