I know this is an obvious and old point, but it still shocks me how quickly the culture of the GOP has come to defined by the absurd personality type of the "toad-licking, ass kissing alpha." Amazing that they've built an audience that finds such deportment appealing, rather than disqualifying.

Went to repost this and then depressingly saw it was from 8 months ago. This is still true, and I am now convinced it will remain true until there are successful primary challenges nationwide to the "roll over and play dead" Dems.
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Die Klage in der Hauptsache ermöglicht den Gang durch alle Instanzen. Will heißen: auch das Oberverwaltungsgericht und das Bundesverwaltungsgericht könnten entscheiden. Da die Zulässigkeit der Zurückweisungspraxis vom Unionsrecht abhängt, könnte eines der Gerichte auch den EuGH anrufen
Exklusiv: Es könnte nun doch zum Prozess über die von von Innenminister Dobrindt verfügten #Zurückweisungen kommen. Weil eine Somalierin nach erfolgreichem Eilverfahren ins Land kam, schien das Verfahren erledigt. Nun ging beim VG Berlin ein neuer Klageschriftsatz ein.
Warum nun doch Prozess um Dobrindts Zurückweisungen?
In einem spektakulären Eilverfahren entschied das VG Berlin, dass Zurückweisungen an der Grenze zu Polen rechtswidrig sind. Kommt es nun auch zu einer Verhandlung?
