I'm seeing now that despite gamers' criticisms of it - some of which is reasonable, as it could stand to have a higher skill ceiling/postgame - it is designed so well for younger kids/girls.

I played the heck out of THPS4 on my iBook G4 in 7th grade.
It ran at a consistent 7fps, so needless to say... I was very good at the game. (Until I tried it on someone's console and it ran smoothly. A bit of a shock to the system)

Popped back into Pokemon Legends Arceus after the presentation today!
If there's one major thing I hope they improve in Pokemon Legends ZA, it's the score.
I think Arceus was aiming for BOTW's sparse overworld motifs, but really missed the mark in my opinion.

I watched a great video by The Market Exit today that reminded me how dopamine-reliant my brain is to screens and my phone and stuff.
Thankful that I've been spending more time making music lately and will try to let that be where I spend a bit more of my screen time for a while!

After beating Prince of Persia, instead of starting a new backlog game (or... finishing an open one) I'm dipping back into Tears of the Kingdom to keep chipping away at some stuff I never finished! And it just hits such a spot. That game and BOTW fill such a particular void lol

There's a bunch more sessions that are half-worked ideas, so I'd suspect those turn into something either later this year or next year or something?

Outside of Pokemon games, Ninja Boy 2 is one of the only gameboy games from my childhood that's not on NSO, and I haven't played any other games in the series - so I'm curious about Super Ninja Boy! lol
