The next four years (at least) will be corps, businesses, all across the country quietly removing their support and protections for trans people. Especially those based in red states. They give zero fucks about trans people. Why bother when you know there are no consequences?

A type of bad faith criticism I hear a lot in dsa is people saying “actually it’s best practice to..” As if they are not still speaking from a point of subjectivity. They never say WHY it’s “best practice.”It means “My way is better but I don’t want to have to explain myself just shut up and listen”

this especially pisses me off because big j's (very good) video is not clowning on kid movies for laughs, he takes them seriously & clearly loves a lot of things about them, & he is consistently critical of the ones that don't respect their own kid audiences
