Good morning to everyone but especially to Lady Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whose judgement against Rudy Giuliani for defaming them and turning their lives upside down cannot be pardoned away by the president

I am working on a story that involves some of the ways people really are standing up in this moment. There really is a groundswell and it's not coming from DC.
I keep seeing regular Americans taking more risks every day to fight tyranny, want, and cynicism than I see from the opposition party, and I imagine many of those regular Americans are asking themselves what the value proposition of such an opposition party is, really

@sanders.senate.gov: "We have already had 15 Republicans in the Senate defy Trump and say, 'Release the SNAP funds.' So I think that if we had held firm, it would be the Republicans who would yield. That was not the position of these 8 Democrats."

Outrage as Rainforest is cleared of 100,000 trees for climate summit
Both climate activists and skeptics have slammed the destruction of miles of the Amazon rainforest in order to build a road for a two-week climate change summit.

In a functional party system, this kind of capitulation in the face of authoritarianism could mean the end of the Democratic Party.

In our system, it could mean the end of the two party system. Neither party can represent the pro-democracy majority. It's time for something new.

A pity
Your actions don't follow your talk
America is in the midst of a Republican-made health care crisis—a crisis so severe, so urgent, and so devastating for American families that I cannot support a continuing resolution that fails to address it.

I am voting NO.
November 10, 2025 at 11:41 PM
Liar, all you care about is being able to fly back home and not work
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

A lying politician who sold the people of this country out, again.

He needs to be fired
I will not support the Republican bill that’s on the Senate floor because it fails to do anything of substance to fix America’s healthcare crisis.
November 10, 2025 at 11:40 PM
Schumer has once again sold the American people out.

He has got to be removed from minority leader and definitely removed from the senate

Let's call @democrats.senate.gov bluff and DEMAND they remove @schumer.senate.gov as senate minority leader IMMEDIATELY. Either he coordinated making sure the votes came from Senators not up for reelection or he's lost control of his caucus.

Either way, he's a failure. He has to go.

Two are retiring and none are up for re-election.
This is planned democratic fecklessness.
The Democrats must think we're stupid or something

Caving on the shutdown won’t make you “moderate.” It makes you WEAK! Giving Republicans what they want for NOTHING more than a “promise” of a vote and risking millions of Americans’ healthcare isn’t compromise—it’s surrender and it’s the most RADICAL thing you could do in this moment. 1/

It all comes down to schumer's feckless leadership.

We need a party that supports the Constitution.Let's start our own party.
This was 100% Chuck Schumer. He hand picked these geriatric, Corporate Dems to vote with Trump on this. Not one of them is up for reelection next year. I'm ignoring Fetterman, of course. He's been MAGA all along.
