So grateful to everyone in NYC who mobilized to stop the ICE raid of Canal St. The violence being committed against immigrants is heart-wrenching, but the shows of solidarity we have seen around the country give me so much hope.

Theres something reallllly irritating about online companies offering menial discounts in exchange for double the data (emails and then immediately requiring your # for text ads)— for 5-10% off inflated critical goods.

The conversation between Klein and Coates showed me that a lot of people who screech about “infighting” on the left aren’t aware of the fact that marginalized people have been forced to learn how to regulate their emotions during conflict, and so, are better able to hear what’s actually being said.

After a major and long season of intentional isolation and silence, I got back on a group zoom for the first time in a very long time today. I rejoined a practice I've long grappled with to hone and feel so grateful for the growth that has allowed me to be an enthusiastic beginner again.

There is really something very insidious about the Democrats of the 90s severing social issues from economic justice and anti-war movements. The idea that you could be progressive but wave away any financial or foreign policy question as “it’s complicated”.
