One weirdly validating part of transitioning how when talking with strangers, I would refer to my partner, and they started to refer to "him". The automatic assumption that I was with a man, stemming from how I fit into their hetero ideas. I mean, they're wrong and I'm gay, but it's interesting!

I thought I couldn't get a hardback copy Volume 1 of Daughter of the Lilies, @megsyv.bsky.social's amazing comic, from outside the US. But then @anniezard.bsky.social surprised me with this Christmas gift. I need it known that she is an absolutely phenomenal friend and a wonderful person. ;A;

Anyone here remember seeing an Alan Wake keychain? On one side there's Alan and "Show me the champion of light", and the other's Scratch, with "I'll show you the herald of darkness"? I hoped to give a friend one for Christmas, but I didn't find it anywhere. Was that real? Am I remembering right?
