Ah fair enough. I was surprised at how little it annoyed me. I viewed it as the final chapter of the story of winning the cup.

I was on a bus after the game and a very grumpy old man was trying to tell me that losing to Maccelsfield was worse than us winning the Cup 😂 I told him in a very condescending tone that i'm sure one day they'll win it and only then will he realise how wrong he is

That was lovely viewing 😂 Sadly I think they've probably got 3 or 4 points to many to be really dragged into it. If they remain winless this month though the match v Forest on 1st March will be massive

Today felt like everyone collectively skipped back a couple of months. Shite game but a really strong performance, you could see it in the players eyes from the start

I wrote it off but had another think when I qualified for away tickets but couldn't make it work without spending crazy money or spending one or more nights sitting in an airport

He could've signed an extension when offered, similar to the others have a release clause put in and in the mean time he'd have been £1.2 to £2.5m richer depending on when it was offered last year. He's been badly advised but at 28 needs to be accountable for his clusterfuck.

This better not lead to a last minute attempt to try and get JSL for £5m less and that also falling through (once bitten etc etc )

I think a loan makes perfect sense (a good one) as we don't know the formation we'll play next year. If it's with 2 CBs we've got Lacroix, Richards, Riad, Canvot and Lerma (contract pending). We don't need to spend. Same goes with midfield. Doucoure is amazing but where he's not come back yet 1/2

I'm hoping Guessand goes onto be a great signing. We were very heavily linked in the summer so not a panic buy. We now have Sarr, Pino, Johnson and Guessand for the no.10 roles which is significantly stronger than we were on 31st Dec. 3ish days to fill the other holes
