We don't really win collisions at all. For a few years we were able to hide that with JGPs pace but he's dropped off a few percentage points, and we have in turn. Those percentage points are the difference between top four in the world and whatever we saw tonight.

There are no positives to that.
Ireland scrapped well, but you'd expect that as a bare minimum. When France were arsed, we looked like we had absolutely nothing for them, and not even the set piece to fall back on as an excuse.
That was a 20+ point loss that easily could have been 30+

As parents we will all find our own way and hope mum and dad don't f*** up our kids too much. But just a few words from someone on here i like and respect make me stop and think. Teaching self discipline is vital but fear is deeply not cool

I didn't something similar, stating Russia wouldn't invade because it would be mad for multiple reasons. Part of which was hoping they wouldn't to protect a 20+ years career
Saying this as someone who rather unfortunately wrote a "of course the Russians wouldn't be stupid enough to invade Ukraine with only 150 000 combat troops" piece for Foreign Policy a month before the Russians were stupid enough to invade Ukraine with nowhere near enough troops.
