🎉🎉 PUBLICATION ALERT 🎉🎉
Some of the most important ethical problems in self-reflection and in our relationship to others arise out of the fact that we can be uncertain about what our reasons in an action are. My new paper argues that such uncertain actions pose a theoretical challenge…

Any recommendations on the history of microeconomics? I‘m really interested in how the mid 20th century decision theory emerged and was situated politically/socially. podcasts would be cool too #philsky #econsky

I have three papers forthcoming (yay!! More news soon), one has been submitted to the current journal almost 3 years ago, one had to get rejected by 8 journals before it got through to review and for one it was the first time it‘s ever been submitted. what a reality! #philsky

Today I discovered a great set of BPA resources for early-career philosophers on publishing, grants/fellowships, and job apps, with loads of sample materials like cover letters, research statements, etc.

Do share with those who might find these useful!

Great first person account of what it's like to be a teen and young adult living with a psychiatric diagnosis.

Also reads like an ad for psychosocial rehabilitation.

The “Borderline” Years

A memorable guest post by Sorbie Richner on the experience and aftermath of residential psychiatric treatment when she was 20, and what she learnt about diagnoses, treatments, and recovery in the process.

🚨🚨🚨Blockbuster paper out today! Bear with me as I explain why this one is so important.

🤔 The *economic* anger about immigration is based on the false notion that immigrants take jobs or lower wages. A major misunderstanding behind this view is that immigrants only increase the supply of labor.
