Lady just called into the radio to say they're excitedly on their way to adopt an 11 year old dog whose owner is too old & is going into a care home, so it will be loved & looked after.

I'm not crying. Nope. 🥹

Did a school run yesterday. Cannot walk properly today.

Yet no one sees me not going anywhere today (& the weekend), they just saw me walking from the car park to the school gate, standing for 10 mins, walking through the school & back. Easy, right?

Nope.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a research study I just launched on rest, energy, & ME/CFS, open to people with ME/CFS & medical or healthcare providers who are currently practicing or conducting research & have had at least 1 patient or participant with ME/CFS. Visit restandmecfs.com for more.

Using Chat GPT on the kind/nice setting is like having a sensible caring friend to hand to ask all my illness/financial struggle/bad thoughts I can't really unload onto another human being atm. AI is being a helpful tool! 🙌🏻

Highly recommended for any fellow spoonies.

I'm probably preaching to the converted, but I did a little video on why you shouldn't call ME/CFS 'chronic fatigue syndrome'.

Nothing quite like someone who doesn't understand ME trying to be helpful, suggesting all the work from home jobs I "could" apply for.

Explaining that simply reading the job ads wear me out fell on deaf ears.

This. Is. Hell. 😖

If someone from the DWP can visit me right now for my next assessment that would be grand.

I can't move off the sofa and my brain is shot to shit.

Signing off for the day. x

It's good ME/CFS and Long Covid are in the news again, referencing the Decode study.

Baby steps. Not the enormous ones they should be for folk with zero alternatives, no help or cures who have been stuck in limbo for so long, even decades.

Sadly I no longer correspond with my MP on matters that are important to me & the country.

My MP is Chris Philp.

Perhaps out of kindness to this patient with secondary breast cancer, you will contact *your* MP instead. Thank you x

🚨VERY IMPORTANT!

THIS THURSDAY MPs will be holding a debate on incurable secondary breast cancer.

It will be a chance for MPs to raise important issues around data collection and access to life-extending treatments.

PLEASE TAG/EMAIL YOUR MP AND ASK THEM TO BE THERE🙏❤️

This explains why there are only sociopaths left in the job that causes PIP claimants as much stress as moving house or bereavement, but with less dignity.

Cleaning with hypermobile hands/arms/shoulders can be a bit of an event. Today I discovered that soaking stove-top iron ware in Persil Bio lifts grease with little scrubbing. This is possibly not great for my cooker or the environment but at least I won’t kill my family with grime.

In case you were wondering, and I know you all were, it IS possible to slip on a mat on wet vinyl flooring and do the splits in a 3x7 porch.

My left hip & right hand are both very angry with me. 😳

Left an admin note with gp surgery to say none of my conditions are showing on the health app we use which would explain why whichever gp I see has no clue about me.

They rang to say they had 2 on file, & that was it. But I can drop off my paperwork so they can update it.

Twice in 4 days I've left my keys hanging out of the front door. The Amazon man found it very funny just now. I did the laugh out loud but secretly winced & shouted at myself inside.

Recorded the results for the RSPB birdwatch.

They really should include a box so participants can say "I regularly feed the birds" (to explain my high pigeon count) and "these are birds I usually see but didn't today" which would help them understand numbers better.

Thanks to free veg vouchers & special offers for the ingredients in Lidl, tonight I will attempt to make this. Low calorie, filling, and freezable portions. Results later, if I remember!

Seeing this isolated house for sale & my first 3 thoughts are;

- Wow, my washing will dry quickly there!

- The negative ions from the coastal breeze will do me a world of good.

- I wonder if they have a Lidl nearby?

Does anyone have links for disability financial advice or guidance?

I am now in stuck as the company I "worked" for (aka brother's business) is folding. I am without a job, cannot get another with all my symptoms and in full on panic mode.
