i don't like AI, obviously, i think it's bad that college students are using it to cheat courses. but that is not as indicative of personal laziness/failure as it is a collective realization that college's role has morphed from a learning tool into a performative job-seeking debt ritual.

to be clear: i am not saying you can't prefer another art style or wish a character was drawn with more consistency. i understand. what i'd like to assert is fujimoto's talent as an artist shouldn't be undermined based on this, & it shouldn't be assumed he's lost his passion, either

'i love pt 2's early art more and i wish fujimoto had more time to refine it' to 'actually, this current artstyle is just better. for me. and maybe artstyles should be allowed to grow and change over time and i shouldn't assume fujimoto dislikes illustration based on that' is growth
