I guess it must be because it’s the only historically proven technique for correction after after certain failures of societal experimentation run amok

As we.near the experiment’s end and it’s clear that moving from national monocultures to tighter echo-chamber-chosen cultures that people just need to recognise that the other cultures exist, are valid even if “wrong” about some things, and, as Popper roughly said: tolerate all but intolerance

It seems like our economy is actually based on selling dreams to stupid rich people.
