You not only made it through Monday but it's uninspired sequel too, on 'non-optimal' days, it's good to look back and give gratitude, even if it's just for good coffee, a great book & a bad Stephen Baldwin shark movie on DVD! 🧁☕️🦈📚🖊😌

Happiness is a chunky junk journal, great coffee, dumb movies and (where possible) a sweet treat! For the past few birthdays, i've discovered the joys of thr solo staycation, exploring places not too far off the beaten path, but far enough away from work, improved my mental health exponentially 📚🎧☕️💼

Good idea 😃💡: Spending a cozy snow day weekend inside 🛋📺. Bad idea: : Spending 20mins clearing snow off my car so I can drive to work. Anyhow, howz the new year treatin ya? The concept of taking time to yourself and recharging isn't just practical, it's Biblical & i'd be foolish to ignore it! So that's why i've been spending these past 4 blissful days playing Marvel Nemesis & Chaosbane in between watching horror movies about K.O weed-loving Leatherface & Mouseboys! 😌🐭🚬
Of all the years, this has definitely been the most recent 🫠 but despite the many curveballs & speedbumps throughout, there has still been so many fun times! 🥰 plenty of adventuring, journaled about it in cute cafés & great movies, from killer 🎄 to a Pete Davidson killing spree! 👴🏻💉🪓 more in '26 plz!

I can't say I knew St Augustine personally, but I agree with what he's saying; over the past 3 years i've travelled more on my own & loved it more than I ever did in former friend groups. Don't think i'll ever tire of café hopping w/my journal, visiting museums by myself or thrifting in new places 🚇

"He stands in the fields and waits!" the final night of the best time of year is winding down here in the Nest, but my what a harvest of horror it has been! Ironically enough, just going own pace made it the best 🎃 yet. A lil sad it's over but like Stingy Jack & Gallowgog it'll be back next year! 😌

If I had a nickel for every horror movie I watched this October, where a supernatural entity that's only visible to the protagonist, distorts their realities and does messed up things to faces. I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but weird it happened twice! The movies being The Rake & Smile obv

If you're looking for something to satisfy those spooky vibes but a little outside the box, i'd heartily endorse The Town Without Halloween, I love the creature effects, the myriad Halloween decor, synthy soundtrack & likable cast. I found it fun and charming despite its low budget indie nature 🎃🏚🧟🍂
