In terms of practical outcomes, there's basically no difference between porn worldbuilding and non-porn worldbuilding. I know a person who developed a lifelong interest in civic engineering after trying to calculate how much semen would be required to overwhelm their home town's storm drain system.

![Q: Can I headcanon your character as [anything]?
You do not need my permission to interpret and imagine. It is a nuanced thing. Be respectful of what is presented in canon [i.e. not flat out ignoring major aspects of characters/the story], but also be respectful of how others may interpret that canon. My work tends to not spell EVERYTHING out directly, so naturally people will interpret things in many different ways. Do not be hateful, of course, that is obvious- but don’t be afraid to have discussions with your peers who may have different ideas than you do. My characters can serve as a jumping off point for your imagination. Remember: in the end, they’re cartoons. Have fun.
I do have specific intentions for some characters that are not flat out said in the piece of media. Author intentions are important too. But, my intentions don’t mean you can play around with the character in your own way either. I believe people take “death of the author” in too black and white of a manner- it depends. Intentions are important, but so is the interpretation of the viewer.
