anyway I just think that
A moment immediately following Ed and Stede’s beach reunion smooch (resmoochion). Stede’s nose is scrunkly against Ed’s cheek. Both of their eyes are closed. Stede still seems frozen in the moment, like he’s holding onto it, committing it to memory on the spot. Ed’s eyes are still squeezed closed to the point of furrowing, because until a very short while ago he assumed Stede to be dead. HE’S NOT! HOORAY! KISS AND MAKE UP ABOUT IT YOU NUMPTIES thank u

you can love a character and still admit when they’re wrong. i love ed teach but can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) & can hold him accountable for his wrong doings (he’s never done anything wrong in his life) & call him out for his actions (which are always correct)
