I don’t think people get in just the span of 5-7 years protecting trans people went from being something noble and decent to disgusting and career ending.
There’s still some celebs pulling for us, but between LOTT and other mainstream media firehoses for trans phobia, no one will save us.

Co-signing this. If there's one thing I've learned from spending five years getting directly water cannoned with it, it's that conservative transphobia isn't about not wanting to fuck us. They just want it to be rape
Genuinely I fully believe this. Aside from the fact that republican men are insanely thirsty for trans women, the truth is, in some ways deeply felt transphobia is almost less common than homophobia.
